Magnet Grades Explained: N40 to N52

Neodymium magnets are graded by maximum energy product. N52 is the strongest commercial grade — roughly 30% stronger than N40 at the same size. Higher grades cost more; N42 and N45 are the best value for most uses. We stock N40 through N52; N40 and N45 cover most of the range.
