Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about magnet grades, pull force, shipping, and tax.
- What does N52 mean on a neodymium magnet?
- The N-number is the magnet grade — its maximum energy product. N52 is the strongest commercial grade, roughly 50% stronger than N35 at the same size. Higher grades give more pull force from the same dimensions.
- Do you ship to the United States?
- Yes. We ship across Canada and the US. Prices are shown in CAD for Canadian customers and USD for US customers; the currency is chosen automatically based on your location.
- Do prices include tax?
- Canadian orders are charged GST/HST based on your province at checkout. US orders are not charged Canadian tax.
- How strong is pull force?
- Pull force (listed in pounds on each product page) is the force needed to pull the magnet straight off a thick steel plate. Real-world holding strength is lower when magnets grip through paint, gaps, or thin steel.
- Which shape should I choose?
- Discs suit closures and general holds; blocks fit channels and edges; rings allow countersunk screw mounting; cylinders reach through thicker material. See our shape guide for details.
- How do I pay?
- We accept PayPal — you can pay with your PayPal balance or any major credit/debit card through PayPal's guest checkout, in CAD for Canadian orders and USD for US orders.
